📜 A Remarkable Milestone Recognized
As part of our 150th year, we recently received a special recognition from the Washington Secretary of State honoring First Presbyterian Church of Snohomish as a Sesquicentennial Corporation.
The certificate recognizes that our church has been continuously incorporated since April 18, 1876 — making First Presbyterian Church of Snohomish one of just two organizations from that year still in operation today.
The Secretary noted the perseverance required to maintain incorporation at a time when travel was by boat, train, or horseback— in our case by canoe. This makes the endurance of our church’s life and ministry all the more remarkable!
This recognition is a meaningful reminder of the faithfulness, commitment, and stewardship of generations who came before us—and of the responsibility we carry as the church today.
We’re grateful to share this recognition as part of our year-long 150th celebration.

to join us and celebrate
“Through the Years”
our annual Ladies Tea
Hosted by FPCS Women's Ministries,
Saturday, May 16th
in the Lake View Hall
from 11:00 to 3:00.
Tea will be served with all the trimmings featuring a variety of finger foods, sweets and delectable goodies. The entertainment will include our speaker, Elizabeth Klein; singing with Rita at the piano and a period hat and dress parade and competition with prizes. We will also enjoy some games and historical activities celebrating the 150 years our church has been active.
