150th Anniversary
In 2026, First Presbyterian Church of Snohomish celebrates 150 years of faith, fellowship, and life together. Throughout the year, we’ll mark this milestone with special gatherings, shared stories, and moments of reflection that honor where we’ve been and look ahead with hope....

150 Years of Grace
📜 A Remarkable Milestone Recognized
As part of our 150th year, we recently received a special recognition from the Washington Secretary of State honoring First Presbyterian Church of Snohomish as a Sesquicentennial Corporation.
The certificate recognizes that our church has been continuously incorporated since April 18, 1876 — making First Presbyterian Church of Snohomish one of just two organizations from that year still in operation today.
The Secretary noted the perseverance required to maintain incorporation at a time when travel was by boat, train, or horseback— in our case by canoe. This makes the endurance of our church’s life and ministry all the more remarkable!
This recognition is a meaningful reminder of the faithfulness, commitment, and stewardship of generations who came before us—and of the responsibility we carry as the church today.
We’re grateful to share this recognition as part of our year-long 150th celebration.
